Incredible sights and sounds by some of the best choirs in the country makes HOA 2023 a huge success.
After an amazing showcase of talent from across the country, the Heart of America 2023 Season has come to a close. More than 3,000 student performers, band, crew and staff members joined us for an event during March. With venues in Chicago, Nashville, Orlando and New York City, our stages were bright with some of the best concert and show choirs in the United States.
Forty-four performing ensembles traveled from Ohio, Mississippi, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, California, Nebraska, South Dakota, Virginia, Connecticut, Oklahoma and Iowa to HOA sites. We awarded scholarships, provided adjudicator critiques following preliminary performances and passed out tons of awards making education as important as competition. During our events, spectators and students helped raise over $18,000 for Show Choirs for Thirst.
