We’re excited to bring Heart of America back to New York City in 2027. After careful planning, we’re moving the previously announced 2026 NYC date forward one year to deliver the best possible experience for students, directors and families.
Two big reasons we’re moving NYC to 2027
1) Better dates!
Moving the date to later in 2027 allows us to better serve different show choir circuits across the country and their seasons. Since various regions start and end at different times, we want to give schools more options.
2) Giving you time to plan!
The 2027 shift provides clearer options for planning and working out all the details for schools to visit The Big Apple. This reduces conflicts and increases student participation and administrative approvals, giving over a year to prepare!
When we saw the “writing on the wall” from lower-than-expected registrations and heard about the obstacles to attending in 2026 from directors, we felt this was the best course of action. All of us at Heart of America want the best possible experience for your groups and students!
